From my research I can see that it is mostly younger males (20s) that listen to psychedelic rock. Because this is the target audiences, it makes sense for me to appeal to them more. I have also discovered that there are not that many females who listen to psych rock, or at least there are a lot less than males, which may be to do with the fact that there are not many females in psych rock bands (Grace Slick from Jefferson Airplane and Maureen Tucker from The Velvet Underground being notable exceptions.
